Mari Mortensen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience
providing therapy and support groups to teens, parents, and adults. She has worked
at, and consulted in, several high schools in the Chicago area.

She has an in-depth knowledge of special education services and accommodations for children and teens with learning and behavioral challenges. In addition, Mari has been been a foster parent for older teens, and supervised foster care group homes.
She has a special focus on helping teens resolve issues that interfere with school
success and healthy relationships.
